"Tangle on the Water"

In Tangle on the Water, a fleet of yellow boats gather across a green lake, streaked with white. Some of the boats display their sails, but most rest with them down, caught in a still moment. Rising between them are brownish-purple posts, marking space. Among this dance of vessels, a dark blue dot anchors the eye, while a peach-toned, duck-like form glides nearby.

"Bulk Carriers"

Bulk Carriers marks the beginning — the early pulse of what would become a deeper journey into surrealism. In this piece, large ships float across a vivid, almost neon green lake. Their forms are bold and blocky, painted in bright oranges and a glowing teal — not quite real, yet undeniably present. They feel both monumental and otherworldly, lit from within like floating monoliths. Shapes rise from the vessels — perhaps people, perhaps cargo, perhaps something reaching upward.

Cargo Across Yellow Horizon captures the surreal stillness of movement — three deep blue bulk carriers glide slowly across a sea of brilliant yellow. Their dark, blocky forms cut through the canvas, softened only by trails of pumpkin orange and white that shimmer in their wake. This was one of the earliest pieces in the Majestic Vessels series, and already it carried the essence of what would follow: scale, silence, wonder. "Observation Point"

Observation Point captures a moment of quiet watching — a solitary pause in the presence of motion. The waters are painted in soft purples and blues, gentle and reflective, holding the light like a memory. Boats drift across the lake in strokes of white, orange, and teal — each one in motion, each one heading somewhere unseen.

At the very bottom center of the canvas, the back of a blue figure is just visible — still and observing. The figure is quiet, faceless, but full of presence. Fogbound Horizon is a painting that lives in mystery — where form emerges slowly, and beauty hides beneath layers of color and suggestion.
